OTMLI is a mentorship and literacy organization for girls ages 13–18, built on the belief that every girl carries an opulence of spirit that deserves to be seen, celebrated, and expanded.
The Opulent Teen Mentorship and Literacy Initiative (OTMLI) exists to cultivate the brilliance, voice, and power already living inside every girl. We are a mentorship and literacy organization dedicated to girls ages 13–18, equipping them with the communication skills, cultural intelligence, wellness practices, and career confidence they need to walk boldly into any room and reshape it. Through intentional programming, real-world mentorship, and transformative cultural experiences, we develop girls who are self-aware, globally conscious, and unstoppable.
We envision a world where every teenage girl, regardless of her zip code, background, or beginning, knows without doubt that she is worthy, capable, and called to greatness. OTMLI sees a future generation of women who are opulent in every dimension: mind, body, spirit, and civic responsibility.
Every program, workshop, and mentorship moment is designed around five dimensions to cultivate excellence.
Building confident communicators in writing, speaking, and advocacy, who know their words carry weight and their stories deserve to be told.
Nurturing mental, emotional, and physical health through honest conversations and a community that says: taking care of yourself is not selfish.
Anchoring girls in a deep, proud sense of who they are, culturally, personally, and spiritually, so external pressures cannot shake what is built from within.
Expanding perspectives through civic engagement, cultural exposure, and a growing awareness that she belongs not just in her community, but in the world.
Connecting ambition to actionable pathways: college readiness, career exploration, financial literacy, and the networks that open doors.

Danielle Foster is an educator, literacy consultant, mentor, and the Founder & Executive Director of the Opulent Teen Mentorship and Literacy Initiative (OTMLI). With over a decade of experience empowering students in the classroom and serving her church and community, she is passionate about helping young women discover the confidence to lead, communicate with purpose, and embrace lifelong learning. Through OTMLI, Danielle is building a transformative community where literacy, leadership, wellness, cultural awareness, and mentorship converge to equip girls to become compassionate leaders and impactful global citizens. She believes every girl already possesses extraordinary potential and that, with intentional guidance and meaningful opportunities, she can confidently shape her future and influence the world around her.
Davlyn serves as Board President and brings expertise as a neonatology physician, health equity advocate, and leader focused on addressing the social drivers of health. Her work is grounded in a commitment to addressing maternal and infant health, strategic leadership, and mentorship. Passionate about empowering young women, she is dedicated to fostering confidence, purpose, and a legacy of wellness and success that extends across generations. She is honored to support this initiative for young women to grow into impactful leaders, explore the possibilities within God's creation, and make meaningful contributions to their communities.
Morgan is an attorney in the Conflicts Department at Greenberg Traurig LLP. A proud native Houstonian, she earned her undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, completed a master's program at Columbia University, and received her law degree from Cornell Law School. Passionate about education and the development of young women, Morgan is honored to serve on the board of OTMLI. She is especially passionate about creating opportunities for young Black girls to recognize their own brilliance, develop confidence in their voices, and envision expansive futures for themselves.
Stephanie is a working professional and mom of two, a son and a daughter. Originally from New York and now at home in Houston, she is excited to serve on the board of OTMLI. Passionate about mentorship, Stephanie is proud to be part of an organization that meets girls at the age when they are truly developing a sense of self, and she is most excited to help them cultivate confidence and lean into their authentic selves.
